Thermal / Hot Insulation
High-temperature protection for process equipment and piping
Overview
Hot insulation minimises heat loss from process pipelines, vessels, and equipment operating well above ambient temperature. By keeping heat inside the system, it reduces fuel consumption, stabilises process temperatures, and protects workers from hot surfaces. Max Insulation engineers hot insulation systems using rock wool, ceramic wool, and calcium silicate finished with aluminium or GI cladding.
How we do it
Site survey & thermal audit
We measure operating temperatures, surface areas, and heat-loss targets to specify the correct material and thickness.
Material selection & supply
The right density and grade of insulation is sourced from verified manufacturers for the temperature band involved.
Application & securing
Insulation is wrapped, wired, and secured to pipes and vessels with expansion joints where required.
Cladding & finishing
Aluminium or GI cladding is fabricated on-site and fitted for weatherproof, mechanically durable protection.
Why choose Max Insulation
- Cuts heat loss and fuel costs
- Stabilises process temperatures
- Protects personnel from hot surfaces
- Weatherproof metal cladding finish
Cold Insulation
Sub-ambient temperature insulation for cold storage, refrigeration pipelines, and cryogenic applications.
