Expanded polystyrene (EPS), commonly known as Thermocol, is a lightweight, cost-effective cold insulation material. Its closed-cell structure resists moisture and provides reliable thermal resistance for cold storage, ducting, and sub-ambient piping where high mechanical strength is not required.
